Rose Valeria Van Ert, 85 died Monday, June 5, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Rite of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline with prayers at 9:30 a.m at the funeral home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4- 6:30 p.m. with the rosary being recited at 4 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline.
Rose was born October 25, 1920 in Lindsay, NE. She married Bernard M. Van Ert in 1941.
Rose worked at Buddy L. until the early 1960's. She also worked at Moline Public Hospital. After retiring from the hospital, she worked at the Moline Viking Club. Due to illness, Rose had to retire in 2000.
She enjoyed being around people, she liked doing crafts. She loved to cook but most of all she loved her family. She was a very outgoing and a caring individual.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, to Dr.'s Alla, Kishore, and Dahal and their staff at the Quad Cities Kidney Center as well as her primary physician, Dr. Arvanitis for the special care given to her.
