Rosellen B. (Moseley) Fox

Rosellen “Rose” B. Fox, 75, of Milan, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2502 29 Avenue, Rock Island.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. where a rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.  Burial will be at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal.  Memorials may be made to the church.

Rose was born on January 5, 1947, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Donald and Mary Ellen “Mae” O’Leary Moseley. She married Gerald “Jerry” F. Fox on June 13, 1970, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Milan. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2017.

Rose was a member of St. Pius X in Rock Island; she was also a Befriender in the Pastoral Care Department of Trinity Medical Center.  In her younger years she loved going dancing with her husband, Jerry.  Rose loved watching Days of Our Lives, walking, family card games and being with her grandchildren.  Above all she loved her church and her faith was very important to her.

Survivors include her son, Alex (Heather) Fox, Omaha, NE, daughter, Jennifer (Bobby) Hall, Fountain, CO; grandchildren, Allie Fox, Tyler McDanel, Makenzie Fox and Ethan Fox; great granddaughter, Eden;  sisters, Donna (Jerry) Newberry and Linda Moseley.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings, Ron Moseley, Bob Moseley, and Virginia Bowman.
