Roy R. Groman, age 65 of Orion died April 30, 2004 at Trinity East Medical Center, Moline.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 4th at Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m Monday at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion. Memorials may be made to his family.
Roy was born on May 28, 1938 in Davenport, Iowa the son of Arnold Walter and Josephine Jean Mokosyeki Groman.
Roy was employed at Grisham's Industry in Davenport. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Geneseo and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed country dancing, music, gardening, and his two dogs.
Survivors include loving spouse Ethel Roberts of Orion and his brother Guy of Bettendorf, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Jeff Groman.
