Roy D. Pankey Jr

Roy D. Pankey, Jr, 53, of Lynn Center, died February 14, 2008 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.
There will be a Celebration of Life service 5 p.m Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008 at the Osco Community Church. Family will be receiving friends following the service in the church's fellowship hall.
Memorials may be made to Pathway Hospice or Osco Community Church. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Roy was born May 28, 1954 in Moline to Roy D. and Margaret DeGraeve Pankey, Sr. He married Susan Baum on in November of 1976 in Geneseo.
Roy was a welder for 30 years at John Deere Harvester, East Moline retiring in January of 2004.
Roy was a member of Osco Community Church. He was also a member of the UAW, East Moline. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
