Ruby E. Griffin

Ruby E. Griffin, age 88, of Silvis, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Lighthouse at Silvis.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.

Ruby was born June 26, 1924 in Harcourt, IA, the daughter of Elmer and Alice (Alftine) Danielson. She married George A. Griffin on August 28, 1954, in Moline. Ruby worked as a waitress for Hasty Tasty in Moline and later as the Bookkeeping Supervisor for Midwest Bank and American Bank, retiring in 1975. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline.
