Ruger Henry Lee Kieffer

Ruger Henry Lee Kieffer, 6 months, of Carbon Cliff, IL, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Genesis Medical Center – Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.

Private services will be held at a later date.  Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ruger was born on March 3, 2016, in Davenport, IA, the son of Alex Kieffer and Alisha Whipple.  He loved music, singing, and especially being sung to by his sister.  He was a very happy baby who loved playing with his keys.  Ruger had an infectious smile and a lot of hair.  He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his mom and dad, Alex and Alisha; sister, Remmington Hope Boea Whipple; maternal grandmother, Heather and Richard Behnken, Moline, IL; maternal grandmother, Heather Attwood, Carbon Cliff, IL; paternal grandparents, Arnold and Ann Kieffer of East Moline, IL; paternal great grandparents, Art and Lori Kieffer, great grandmother, Linda Swiatkiewicz; great grandfather, Robert Sutton; aunts and uncles, Alan Kieffer and Paul and Sheena White; uncles, Jonathan and Shanna Rossi, Nicholas Behnken, Dakota Whipple, Boe Whipple; aunts, Alexis Whipple and Christianna Crosby; great uncle, Greg and Char Mitrisin; great aunts, Debbie Andrews, Gail Koby, and Winnie and J.P. Campbell; great uncles, Robert Sutton, II, Stormy Sutton, Stoney Sutton; great aunts, Korrie Tatge, Ann Eubanks, Jamie Stiles, and Timber Woolley; great aunt, Tracy Carbis; uncle, Kevin Dietsch; cousins, Kayden Rossi, Malonie Rossi, and Christopher Kaster.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Walter “Boe” Whipple; brother, Gunner Nicholas Walter Whipple; maternal great grandfather, Bob Swiatkiewicz.
