Russell M. Selman, 98, formerly of Moline, died September 27, 2006 at Danville Care Facility, Danville, IA.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2006 with a visitation one hour prior to service time at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave. Moline. Burial will be in Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate. Memorials may be made to Full Gospel Church of God.
Russell was born October 29, 1907 in Kewanee, IL to Carl Julius and Sigrid (Nelson) Selman. He married Anna E. Larsen on Decmeber 7, 1932 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She preceded him in death on January 11, 1997.
Russell worked for over 25 years at John Deere, Moline as an iron pourer. He retired in 1970.
Russell was a member of Full Gospel Church, East Moline. He enjoyed gardening. He was an artist who loved painting, woodworking and manipulating rocks into jewelry.
