Ruth J Cantrell

Ruth J. Cantrell, 88 of Moline, died Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Aspen Rehab & Health Care, Silvis, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601- 38th Avenue, Moline, IL.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Ruth was born April 28, 1928, in Big Prairie Township, Michigan, the daughter of Ray & Bertha Sarver Miller.  She married Lionel Cantrell in August 1954 in Moline, IL.  He preceded her in death on October 14, 2005.

Ruth was employed as a registered nurse at Moline Public and Lutheran Hospitals, Moline.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening, and especially enjoyed attending Bible Study Fellowship at First Evangelical Free Church in Moline.
