Ruth Dusenberry, 91, of East Moline died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 7, 2010 in the Mausoleum at Greenview Memorial Gardens, 1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ruth was born on March 27, 1919 in Osage, Iowa to Frederick and Helene (Graff) Ide. She married Louis Dusenberry in 1954. He preceded her in death on December 13, 1999.
Ruth loved to bake and was known as the brownie lady by a lot of the neighborhood kids. She was diagnosed with polio in 1954 and was paralyzed from the waist down which left her in a wheelchair. She also crocheted a lot when she was younger.
