Ruth Margaret Rosenberg, 99, formerly of Moline, died December 18, 2008 at Silver Cross Nursing Center/ Friendship Manor, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m.Monday, December 22, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church.
Burial will be in Memorial Park, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Ruth was born January 25, 1909 in Moline to George K. and Hilma (Ekvall) Anderson. She married Kenneth M. Rosenberg on January 23, 1936 in Moline. He preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1992.
Ruth was employed through the Moline School District as a secretary for Hamilton Elementary and William Carr Elementary. She retired in 1974.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline where she belonged to the Goodwill Circle and Trinity Seniors.
