Ruth M. Snyder, 91 of Silvis formerly of Moline died June 14, 2006 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorials Gardens, East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline.
Ruth was born February 1, 1915 in Rio, IL to Fred and Ellen Marie (Carlson) Nelson. She married Cecil W. Snyder on June 22, 1938. in North Henderson, IL He preceded her in death on November 8, 2005.
Ruth was a grocery clerk at Meadow Lane for 11 years. Later she stayed home to raise her family.
Ruth was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline and was a member of the Joanna Unit of WELCA. She was also a member of Clara Lodge of the Independent Order of Vikings. She enjoyed crocheting and embroidery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Paula Anderson, a brother Philip Nelson and a sister Ruby VanHoek.
