Ruth Esther Wigley

Ruth Esther Wigley, 95, of Lombard, Illinois, formerly of Moline, came into the presence of Jesus on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Du Page Convalescent Nursing Home, Wheaton, Illinois.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 11:00-12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to 1st Church of Lombard, Illinois.
Ruth was born on June 7th, 1915 in Pittsburgh, PA to Albert J.E. Wilson Jr. and Lucy Emma Hillwig Wilson. She married Chester M. Wigley on November 26, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA. He preceded her in death on October 15, 1994.
Ruth was a member of 1st Church of Lombard and a former member of Hope United Church of Christ, Moline. She graduated from the Art Studio School of Commercial Art in Pittsburgh, PA in 1935. She enjoyed painting, tole painting, and crafts. The greatest love of her life was her family.
