Samuel "Sam" E. Robbins, 52, of Orion, IL died Monday, November 15, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, 1301-4th St., Orion with a visitation from 5-7 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in German Valley Cemetery, Mondovi, WI. Memorials may be made to the MS Society or to the Autism Society of America.
Samuel was born January 7, 1958 in Eau Claire, WI, the son of Jack and Neva (Hasart) Robbins. He married Gina Hetzel on April 16, 1999 in Aledo, IL.
Sam graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville and received his Masters Degree from St. Ambrose University, Davenport, IA. He was employed as an engineer at the Rock Island Arsenal. He had attended Truax Congregational Church in rural Eau Claire and he was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan.
