Sandra K. "Sandy" King

Sandra K. King, 64 of Moline, died on October 4, 2013 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to her family.

Sandy was born on April 1, 1949 in Moline the daughter of Lewis and Dorothy Kling Palmer. She married John D. King Jr. on January 27, 1968 in East Moline, Illinois; he preceded her in death in October 2001.

Sandy was a homemaker and later went on to work with Kirlin's Hallmark and Ann's Hallmark. She was a member of Heritage Church. Sandy enjoyed bowling, camping, planting flowers, yard work and this time of year was her favorite. Above all her family was her true love.

Sandy is survived by her two daughters Laurie A. Canfield of Hampton, Illinois and Christina M. Smith of Colona, Illinois.
