Sandra “Sandy” Kay Strosahl, 77, of Minnetonka, MN, passed away, July 20, 2024, at Ridgeview Medical Center, Waconia, MN.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline.
Sandra was born on November 14, 1946, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Anna (Poma) and Clarence Bobb. She married Richard Strosahl on June 11, 1966, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Moline. Sandra worked as a clerk and subsequently as a purchasing agent at the Rock Island Arsenal for 20 years, then, held several temporary clerical positions through Kelly Services Sandy was very caring, she’d always card for the grandchildren, and she loved to cook for her family, especially lasagna and Swedish rolls. Sandy also loved to pray, attend bible studies, and to read.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; children, John (Leigh) Strosahl, Glen (Angela) Strosahl, and Susan Woods; grandchildren, Helene, Makenna, Adam, Cameron, Riely, Anna, Logan, Lincoln, Levi, and Zander; great-grandchildren, Tony, Emelia, Victoria, and Sophia; siblings, Susan (Edward) Chase and Kathy (Hugh) Blaney, a large extended family including sisters-in-law Marilyn McKinley and Marlene Richardson, brother-in-law Eugene (Dorit) Strosahl, numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins,
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandchild, Liberty Davidson.
