Sara R. "Sally" Scott, age 75, of Moline, died Friday, October 15, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial is at Moline Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rock Island County Animal Care & Control Facility or Arrowhead Ranch.
Sally was born July 14, 1935 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Donald and Juliet Fraser. She married Robert Lee Scott on July 20, 1956 in Davenport. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1981.
Sally was a graduate of Monmouth College. She was a homemaker up until her youngest son started school. Sally was employed at Trevor True Value Hardware as head house ware buyer, later going to K&K True Value Hardware, where she held the same position. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Moline. Sally loved her bridge club,dinner group, puzzles and knitting. Her home was always open to anyone in need.
