Sarah L. Peterson, age 19, of Bettendorf, went home to be with the Lord ,Thursday, November 8, 2007 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Rock Solid Truth Life Center 2325-46th Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the center.
Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, send your memorials to Rock Solid Truth/ c.o.Missions. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Sarah was born on August 2, 1988 in Macon, GA the daughter of Steven and Kelly Beckman Peterson.
Sarah volunteered for Operation Humanity and was a very strong witness for Jesus Christ. Sarah is our gift from God. She taught us what love truly is and we will be forever grateful for her life and all it brought to so many. As He is the light of the world, so was she. We love you so much our precious daughter. You are in our hearts forever. XXOO
Survivors include her parents, Steve and Kelly, her brothers, Alec Peterson and Nick Baker; grandmothers Patricia (Memaw) and Larry Litchfield, Lori Bolwar and Marlene Peterson; great-great auntie Francis Johnson; great-aunts Jill, Jeannie and Wanda, aunts K.K., Susan, Kathy, Diana, Susie and Fran; great-uncles Zook, John, Dick, and Don; and uncles David, Todd, Andy, Steve and Mike.
