Sharon Bernard, 74, of Moline, died March 12, 2008 at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Rock Island County Animal Care Center. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Sharon was born September 3, 1933 in Moline to Herbert and Alice Ellstrom. She married John A. Bernard on June 21, 1951 in Pocahontas, AR.
Sharon and her husband owned and operated Poplar Grove Inn in Moline. She enjoyed boating and spending time with her family.
