Sharon F Domyancich

Sharon F. Domyancich, 81, of Moline, passed away surrounded by family on December 27, 2023.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline.  Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., Monday, January 1, 2024, with a rosary to be recited at 1:30 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Moline.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Moline. 

Sharon was born on November 10, 1942, in Moline, the daughter of Wendell and Patricia L. (Vershaw) Jones. She married Larry J. Domyancich on October 23, 1971, in Moline and together they had five children. Sharon was a devoted homemaker. She had previously been employed at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Rock Island, at Desaulniers Printing Company, Moline and as a paraprofessional with the Moline School District. Sharon was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she was active with the Heavenly Dusters and the Altar & Rosary Society. She also participated in the quilting ministry at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include her loving husband, Larry; children, Ellen (Dan) Reeves, Laura (Shawyn) Domyancich-Lee, John (Brittany) Domyancich, Mark Domyancich; grandchildren, Grace, Kiely, Clare, Victoria; sister, Linda Clewell; sisters-in-law, Linda Jones, Sara Jones, Rosemary Leonard.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann; brothers, Bruce, Brian, and Steven; and her parents.
