Sharon Parker

Sharon Sue Parker, 68, at her home in Coal Valley, died July 30, 2019.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the Moline Viking Club from 12 - 3.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., are assisting the family.

Sharon was born in Moline on March 2, 1951, the daughter of Chester and Mary (Bassett) Shepard.  She married Bruce Wayne Parker in East Moline on June 7, 1969.  He preceded her in death on November 21, 2016. She worked as a lunchroom assistant at Horace Mann Elementary for 32 years.  Sharon loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She enjoyed reading and watching “Her Shows” Top Chef and Hell’s Kitchen.

Survivors include her children, Chad (Brandi) Parker, Jason (Jennifer) Parker, grandchildren, Emma, Tori, Trower, brother, Larry (Flo) Shepard, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Gary Shepard and Jerry Shepard
