Sharon K Pope

Sharon K. Pope, 81, formerly of Moline, passed away, January 26, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.  Memorials may be made to the family.  

Sharon was born on October 16, 1942, in Moline, the daughter of Carl and Genevieve (Sedam) Hageman. She married Richard “Dick” Randall Pope on May 15, 1982, in Moline. He preceded her on December 10, 2007. Sharon worked for PepsiCo and as a homemaker. She loved watching game shows, reading, and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Wendy Phelan, Patricia Lopez, and Bridget Hays; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Genevieve and Carl; husband, Richard; brothers, Larry and Ronnie Hageman; sisters, Karen Griffin and Judy Hull.
