Sharon K. Tijerina, 58, of Silvis, IL, died Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Aspen Nursing and Rehab, Silvis, IL.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2016, at Dayton Cemetery. Following the graveside service, a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 305 1st Street, Colona, with Rev. Gene Myers and Pastor Rod Stalsberg officiating. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with services.
Sharon was born on April 1, 1958, in Washington, MO, the daughter of Wilber M. and Imogene R. Bridgeman Brown. She married Bruce Faulkner in 1976 in Sullivan, MO. She worked as a dietary aid for Forest Hill Nursing Home.
Sharon enjoyed drawing trees and playing video games. She especially loved her family.
Survivors include her sons, Shawn (Corrie) Brown, Moline, IL, Brad (Faith) Faulkner, East Moline, IL, and Andrew (Nicole) Faulkner, Atkinson, IL; 2 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 1 great grandson; mother, Imogene Brown, Silvis, IL; sister, Brenda Yanez, Silvis, IL; brothers, Keith (Cheryl) Brown, Geneseo, IL, and Tim (Sue) Brown, Viola, IL; sister-in-law, Deborah Brown.
She was preceded in death by her father; 2 brothers, Dale and Dwayne Brown; sister, Sandra Brown-Talley.
