Shelley Lester, 57, of Cambridge, IL, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016, at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery.
Shelley was born on July 23, 1958, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Robert and Eileen Haddix Humphrey. She married Kenneth Lester on October 12, 2002. She worked as a catering manager for John Deere World Headquarters.
Shelley enjoyed time with her dogs, camping, family and many friends.
Survivors include her loving husband, Kenneth; children, Christopher (Angela) Owens, Geneseo, IL, Angela (Brian) Gordon, Cambridge, IL, Amber (Nicholas) Casteel, Cambridge, IL, and Bradley (Elizabeth Wright) Sloan, Cambridge, IL; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Shirley Lester, Aledo, IL; brothers, Randall Carlile, Lynn Center, IL, and Richard (Tammy) Humphrey, Cambridge, IL; several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Garry, Michael, and Jeffrey; father-in-law, Ralph Lester.
