Shirley L. Wilson, 74 of Rock Island died November 4, 2006 at Parkview Terrace in East Moline.
A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 10th at National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at the funeral home by 8:45 a.m. to process to the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd. is handling the arrangements.
Shirley Louise was born on July 12, 1932 in Moline the daughter of Lloyd and Florence Beckstrom Saylor. She was married to Paul Wilson and he preceded her in death in 1988. .
Shirley was employed as a cook at the Rock Island Arsenal and volunteered in the cafeteria the Moline Gospel Temple where she was a member.
Survivors include daughters Kathy Cork of Moline and Toni Wilson of Davenport; grandchildren Brandi and Patrick Cork of Rock Island; dear friends Fred and Dana Peterson of Rock Island; nephews Doyle, David, Steve and Lane Evans and her ex-husband Harold Park of Moline.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister Joyce.
