Signe Marie Nilsson, 96, of Silvis died May 10, 2007 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2007 with a visitation one hour prior to service time at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave, Moline. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park.
Signe was born August 23, 1910 in Karlskoga, Sweden to Adolph G. and Marie U. (Berquist) Magnuson. She married Gosta Raymond Nilsson on June 12, 1937 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2000.
Signe was a waitress for 20 years at Inland Steel, Chicago. She retired in 1959. She was a member of the Lutheran faith and former member of the Svithiod Lodge. She loved to knit and crochet.
She is survived by

Grandson Claude Nutt Wilmette, IL
Sister Ulla M. Wilson Silvis, IL
Several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gust & Olie Magnuson and a brother-in-law Russell Wilson.
