Skylor Rae Rowe, 25, of East Moline, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 as a result of an automobile accident.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to her family. Following Visitation at the funeral home a celebration of life will continue at the Rock Island Elks, 2117 4th ave, Rock Island.
Skylor was born on May 24, 1993, in Silvis, the daughter of John Adams and Lieschen “Kaylie” Stoye.
Most of her career, Skylor was a CNA caring the elderly and the sick. Most recently she was employed as the manager of the Davenport Maid Rite. Skylor loved hiking and being outdoors. She studied and would make holistic and homeopathic remedies that she gave to others. She was a friend, daughter, “momma”, caregiver and gift to everyone’s life.
Survivors include her dad and mom, Ryan and Kaylie Rowe; birth father, John Adams; Uncle Marlin (Diana) Stoye; Aunt Teresa (Jeff) Thomas; Uncle Robert Stoye; Uncle Robert (Julie) Rowe; brother, Stephen (Sara) Rowe; brother Collin Adams: special “siblings”, Willow, Aurora and Jaysen; who called her Mama Sky; and many, many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Linda Stoye; paternal grandparents, Leland and Edna Rowe and her Aunt Sharon Smith.
Skylor will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her, especially her 2 cholas, Alma and Alicia Tovar.
