Spiro Moraetes

Spiro Moraetes, 90 of East Moline, died Monday, October 30, 2006 peacefully in his home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, East Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to his family.
Spiro was born September 14, 1916 in Setta, Greece to Dimitrios and Angeline Stiliaras Moraetes. He married Katherine Kotrogiannis on September 15, 1942 in Setta, Greece.
Spiro was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
