Stephen Wayne Loete

Stephen Wayne Loete, 74, of East Moline, passed away, February 22, 2024, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Moline Memorial Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to The Arc of the Quad Cities.  

Stephen was born on August 11, 1949, in Moline, the son of Frances and Leonard Loete. He worked in the food industry at Riefe’s, The President Riverboat Casino, and Heritage 53. Stephen was a member of The Arc of the Quad Cities family for 50 years. He loved his two cats Bobby and Oscar, drinking coffee, and watching the WWE and Scott County Wrestling (SCW). Some of Stephen’s favorite hobbies were bingo, bowling, riding his bike, traveling with Able Trek Tours, being sung to, and participating in Special Olympics.

Survivors include his Arc of the Quad Cities family and his many friends.
