Stephen "Steve" L. Palmer, 60, of Moline, died March 29, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
Funeral service will be held 6:00 P.M., Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service from 4:00 -6:00 P.M Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Steve was born on June 16, 1949 to Charles and Virginia Pike Palmer in Rock Island. He married Judy Martin in March 1969. They later divorced. He married Cindy Tollefsrud on October 27, 1990 in rural Dorchester, Iowa.
Steve was a truck driver for USF Holland and Crause Cartage. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island. Steve was a fishing fanatic. He was a member of Harvester Bass Club and Twin Rivers Bass Club where he was very active in fishing the tournaments.
