Steven McKee, 49, of Moline, died July 1, 2008 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be 2p.m. Monday, July 7, 2008 at Grace Baptist Church, Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or to the family.
Steve was born December 12, 1958 in Moline to George and Maude (Knowlton) McKee.
Steve worked for 29 years as a salesman for Car Quest. He was an avid NASCAR fan and followed the careers of Bill Elliot and Dale Jr. He loved camping and Crappie fishing at the cabin in Georgia and yard work and landscaping. He also loved his dog Ellie who he considered his niece.

He is survived by
Sister Karen (John) Johnston Moline
and aunts, uncles and numerous step nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
