Steven M. Moross, 62, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Genesis Medical Center – Silvis Campus, Silvis, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2016, at the funeral home. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan or to the American Heart Association.
Steven was born on September 9, 1953, in Moline, IL, the son of Edgar Franklin and Dorothy Marie Trommer Moross. He worked in maintenance for the Moline Housing Authority.
Steven was an avid collector enthusiast of all things and an ebay addict. He enjoyed camping and traveling, especially to Arkansas and Texas. His house was always the gathering place for his grandkids and neighborhood. Steven was a big supporter of small business.
Survivors include his daughter, Mistie (Tony Burns) Reynolds, Moline, IL; son, Nathan Moross, Davenport, IA; sister, Linda Moross, Coal Valley, IL; granddaughter, Addyson Nelson; special friend, Jean Doden, East Moline, IL; beloved dog, Cinder.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
