Steven Andrew Ontiveros, 51 of Moline, IL passed Sunday June 11, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. He was born January 2, 1955 in Moline, IL to John and Josephine Ontiveros. He was the owner of Steven Andrew's Hair Design in downtown Moline.
Steve had a legacy in the Quad Cities area and beyond for being the most humorous and fun loving guy. Everyone loved Steve and his off-the-wall spontaneous actions. Deeply passionate about the outdoors and our environment, Steve spent a lot of his time contributing to earth-friendly foundations in making our world a better place one small step at a time. Not only did he help hundreds of people, he also changed many people's lives for the better.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 2p.m. at the River Music Experience Museum (131 W. 2nd St. Davenport, IA). In lieu of flowers, donations may be established to a fund in honor of Steve's most passionate projects for the preservation of our environment.
Steve is now starting another life above and has probably already begun living it to the fullest. As he would have wanted, let's use some of Steve's philosophies in our present life to also impact our environment and to help others. He will live on in all of our hearts, for just the name, Steven Andrew will still put a smile on our faces.
