Sue Ann Hunter

Sue Ann Hunter, 75, of Rock Island, passed away on August 1, 2022, at the St. Anthony’s Continuing Care, Rock Island, Illinois.

Cremation rites will be accorded and private burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Sue was born July 7, 1947, in Davenport, Iowa, to John and Angela (Imming) Hunter.  She worked as a credit manager at Strieter Corporation for twenty years.

Sue enjoyed fostering and training Doberman Pinscher dogs was a member of Doberman Rescue. She also enjoyed reading, organic gardening, computers, building websites for various companies and she loved her friends.

Sue is survived by her son, Mark and Shawna Bethell; her grandsons Seth, Hunter, and Kory; sister Jo Ann.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Alice and stepfather, Bud.
