Susan "Sue" K. Gehn

Susan “Sue” K. Gehn, 77, of Colona, passed away March 16, 2025, in Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church (17628 Hubbard Rd. East Moline, IL). Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, at the church. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, East Moline.

Sue was born on November 18, 1947, in Moline, IL, the daughter of John D. and Betty C. (Stotmeister) Morgan. She married Lyle E. Gehn on December 21, 1963, in East Moline, IL. Sue worked as the church secretary at Zion Lutheran Church in East Moline. She was an excellent golfer, loved fishing, and enjoyed painting while in Florida. Sue was always Susie home maker and her favorite time in her life was sitting down as a family for dinner.

Survivors include her husband, Lyle; sons, Jimmy (Cindy) Gehn and Michael Gehn; 9 grandchildren and 1 step-granddaughter; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandson; siblings, Sharon Moss, Steve (Julie) Morgan, Janice Patton, Mark (Kim) Morgan, Doug (Jane) Morgan, and Dan (Barbara) Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty; son, Tyler Gehn; siblings, Christine Martel and Tim Morgan.
