Sylvia Linnea Maier

Sylvia Linnea Maier, 81, of Colona, died November 20, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus.
Services will be 9:00 a.m.Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Friday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bowlesburg Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
Sylvia was born August 27, 1926 in Moline to Axel and Dagmar (Swanson) Lindmark. She married John Joseph Maier in 1972. He preceded her in death in March of 1976.
Sylvia worked at IH, East Moline as a machinist and welder. She later worked as an accountant at the Rock Island Arsenal.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Moline. She was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and bridge.
