Theodore A Tirrell

Theodore A. Tirrell, 72, of Moline, passed away, June 15, 2024, at UC Medicine Advent Health, La Grange, IL.

Per the families wishes, there will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline are assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the family. 

Theodore was born on November 21, 1951, in Moline, IL, the son of Irene (Anders) and Sherman Lawrence. He married Helen L (Kelso) Tirrell on March 17, 1976, in Marquette, Michigan. He was an avid sports fan and his favorite teams were the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. Theodore loved being with his family, from going bowling to playing dominos and dice. When playing dice, he could roll seven when no one else could! Theodore especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and new great-granddaughters. He will be deeply missed by everyone, especially by the love of his life, Helen.

Survivors include his wife Helen of Moline; sons Theodore Tirrell Jr of Moline, IL, Curt Davis of Fort Worth, TX, Antinio Davis of Fort Worth, TX; daughter Shaneka Tirrell of Mount Vernon, IL; as well as his best friend Michael Miles (aka Spider Mike) and Al Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, along with a host of many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
