Theophiel "Tee" Hecht, 90, of Moline, IL, formerly of East Moline, IL, died Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park where military honors will be performed by East Moline American Legion Post 227. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330 13th Street, Moline, IL, 61265, where he was a member.
He served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked for J.I. Case in Rock Island for 44 years.
He is survived by his 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice.
