Thomas H. Blakely, 52 of Milan died February 16, 2006 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Gregory Michel from St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Park, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Circle of Hope, Silvis, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan or to his family for a fund to be established.
Tom was born June 26, 1953 in Davenport to Howard and Jeanette Rosene Blakely. He married Susan Drescher on June 2, 1979 in Rock Island.
Tom graduated from Rock Island High School in 1971. He was employed at Whitmore Bowman, Fazio, and R.W. Mitchell as an account executive. Most recently he was employed at Acosta, Des Moines, IA as a Territory Manager.
Tom was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and Mill Creek Country Club. He was an avid golfer and was proud to say he had several holes in one. He enjoyed fishing ,bowling, and spending time with his family.
