Thomas N. Callahan, age 76, of Moline, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at his residence.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Friends and family are invited to stop by the house between 2:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2011. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Tom was born March 3, 1935 in Moline, the son of William G. and Mary Harlan Callahan. He married Nancy Miller on January 26, 1957 in Moline.
Tom was employed as a custodian for Moline school district #40. He formerly worked as a supervisor at Franks Foundry. Tom was an Army veteran, and a Green Bay Packer fan.
