Thomas George Dolph

Thomas George Dolph, age 60 of Rock Island died Friday, September 22, 2006 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
Private family services are planned. Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Senior Center (2221-11th St. Rock Island). Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Thomas was born January 21, 1946 in Rock Island the son of George and Alice (Benson) Dolph. He was a chemistry professor at Scott Community College. Thomas also had been employed as a programmer for Blue Cross-Blue Shield in Chicago and for Zenith Manufacturing.
Thomas was a graduate of St. Ambrose University and studied for his master's degree at Kansas State University. He was a ham radio operator and also helped as a volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Team. Thomas also enjoyed going on long walks.
