Thomas W. Greiner, age 74, of Moline, lost his battle with diabetes and heart trouble, Friday, November 28, 2008 at his residence.
Tom's family granted his long request for no visitation or services. Private family burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Tom was born November 21, 1934 in Moline, the son of Arthur and Mildred (Lindstedt) Greiner.
Tom was employed as a fork lift operater at Farmall in Rock Island for 34 years, retiring in the 1980's, He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Moline. Tom was also a member of Thor Lodge #9 I.O.V., Allstate Motor Club for years, AARP, and his shop union. He enjoyed his vegetable garden, yard work, biking, walks at the mall and Cricket his cat.

Tom is now free of worry of walking and getting around and joined his father, mother and nephew,Dan in heaven.
