Thomas Michael Hanrahan, 65 of Moline died September 12, 2006 at Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2006 with a visitation one hour prior to service time at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave, Moline. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Family House, an organization that houses families who are visiting their loved ones at Peoria area medical facilities.
Tom was born June 20, 1941 in Galesburg, IL to Martin and Mary Fritch Hanrahan. He was a graduate of Galesburg High School and attended DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago, IL. He married Louise Smith in 1966. He later married Patricia Peplow on November 8, 1999 in Oahu, Hawaii.
Tom was a driver for 30 years for UPS in Galesburg, retiring in 1998.
Tom was an Army veteran, serving his tour in Europe. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Mississippi Valley Country Western Dance Association, President and board member of Wildwood II Condo Association, member of Sun City West, Arizona Lapidary and Shuffle Board Clubs. He enjoyed traveling, doing yard work, dancing and working on different projects that showed his handiwork.
