Thomas Paul Kemmann, 74, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, at St. Anthony's Nursing & Rehab, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to American Red Cross.
Thomas was born on June 25, 1938, in Lowden, IA, the son of Cyrus (Obb) and Louise (Ernsting) Kemmann.
He married Mary Ann Brennan on August 28, 1970, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lowden, IA. Thomas worked for Kemmann Chevrolet in Lowden Iowa. He also worked as a Service Manager for Eye Chevrolet, Anamosa, IA, Mills Chevrolet, Moline, IL, and Lujack Auto Plaza, Davenport, IA, retiring in 1996 after 41 years of service to Chevrolet. Thomas was a member and one of the founders of the Chevrolet "Only the Best" Club for Service Managers. He won several awards including trips to Hong Kong, Hawaii, and Alaska. In his early years he participated in stock car racing. Thomas held several interests including woodworking, boating, auto racing, model trains, car collecting, and sporting events.
