Thomas William Melchin, 61, of Sherrard, died March 1, 2010 at his residence.
Graveside services are Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Sherrard Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:30 - 2:30 pm prior to the graveside services at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline.
Thomas was born on December 20, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to William C. and Ruth Wesebaum Melchin. He married Shannon T. Thuren on Septemeber 17, 1977 in Sherrard. She preceded him in death on May 25, 2003.
Thomas was employed by the local UAW 865 in East Moline. He enjoyed building model cars, fishing, and listening to classic rock.
