Thomas Lee Taylor, 74, of Rock Island, IL, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at home.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. with a memorial service at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center.
Thomas was born on June 4, 1943, in Moline, IL, the son of Albert and Helen Ranbarger Taylor. He married Linda Ruth Manteuffel on December 27, 1964, in Rock Island, IL. He worked as a traffic manager for Farmall and DeSaulnier’s and later as a realtor for Mel Foster.
Thomas enjoyed camping and cars. He loved to attend his grandchildren’s activities as well as spending time with his three golden-fur-kids. He also enjoyed golf.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years on December 27, 2017, Linda Taylor, Rock Island, IL; son, Thomas Jeffry (Susan) Taylor; daughter, Jenny (Jeff) Wroblewski; grandchildren, Sydney, Sophie, and Thomas Taylor, and Alli and Kylie Wroblewski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Helen Taylor.
