Thomas "Tom" N. Braaten

Thomas N. Braaten, 84, of Moline, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at his home.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and per Tom’s wishes, there will be no services. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or March of Dimes. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Tom was born on December 8, 1937, in Rock Island, the son of Oscar and Caroline (Sibbe) Braaten. He married Terry Schultze on May 28, 1960, in Rock Island. He was a U.S. Veteran, having served in the Air Force for four years. Tom retired in January of 2000 as Senior Vice President from Kone.

Survivors include his wife; children, Jennifer (Michael) Radosevic, Menomonee Falls, WI, Eric (Shannon) Braaten, Bells, TX, Andrew (Carmen) Braaten, St. Elmo, MN; daughter-in-law, Ronna Braaten, Bettendorf; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Earl (Lisa) Braaten, Oklahoma City, OK.

He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron; parents; brothers, Willard and Roger Braaten; sisters, Grace Mueller, Sibyl Grubisich, and Jacqueline Stone.
