Anthony "Tony" J. Fackeldey, 66 of Moline died April 13, 2006 at Trinity at Terrace Park, Bettendof, IA
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home with a wake service at 6:30 p.m. Burial of cremains will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Tony was born February 21, 1940 in Moline to Herbert and Cynthia (Green) Fackeldey. He graduated from Alleman High School in 1959. He married Marlene Cullen on December 15, 1968 in East Moline.
Tony was a driver for 42 years for Roadway and Dorhn. He retired in 1999.
Tony attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and any outdoor activity. He liked playing billard and watching NASCAR races. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildrens sporting activites.
