Troy Lee Parvin, 58 of East Moline died June 12, 2005 at his home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2005 at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made out to an educational fund for his grandkids.
Troy was born January 25, 1947 in Blountsville, AL to Carl Parvin and Maude Thomason. He married Janet Hamerlinck on April 1, 1967 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, East Moline.
Troy had worked for Case IH as a welding foreman.
Troy enjoyed driving his 57 Chevy, passing out candy at Southpark Mall where he was known as the "candy man", fishing, and working in his garage. He loved his daughters, granchildren and his special dog Rusty. Troy also loved helping others.
