Tyson Lucas Ball, age 27, of Chicago, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Rush, Presbyterian, St. Luke's Medical Center, Chicago.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Heritage Wesleyan Church, Rock Island. Visitation is from 2:00-6:00 Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. at Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton, IA. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Tyson was born January 30, 1982 in Davenport the son of Robert and Charlene (Marolf) Ball.
Tyson was currently employed as a chef at BaBaReba in Chicago. He graduated from Sterling High School in 2000, and attended the Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School in Chicago. He loved his church, and was a member of Heritage Wesleyan Church, and he also attended City Vineyard Church in Chicago. Tyson enjoyed cooking, collecting white tigers, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Chicago White Sox fan.
