Vera J. Kjellstrand

Vera Kjellstrand, 97, of Rock Island, died February 3, 2009 at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 1p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 with a visitation one hour prior to service time at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park.
Vera was born September 17, 1911 in Moline to Alfred Clayton and Edna Sophronia (Bustard) Brown. She married Edward Lincoln Kjellstrand on December 8, 1934. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1988.
Vera was employed at Modern Woodman, Augustana College and Bituminus.
She is survived by

She was preceded in death by her husband and siblings Clyde Alfred Brown and Ethel Soebing.
